Realtors Donate to Boy Scouts of America Redwood Empire Council

Eureka, Ca....Members of the Humboldt Association of REALTORSâ recently presented a $5,000.00 check to the Boys Scouts of America Redwood Empire Council. These proceeds from HAR's 15th Annual Golf Tournament held in September, will assist with much needed building restoration and improvements including new windows, roof, heating and paint.

The Boys Scouts of America prepare young people with the tools they will need to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Twenty golf teams and sixteen hole sponsors participated in the "best-ball" tournament with more than $8,000.00 raised during the day-long event. Additional proceeds from the golf tournament benefit the HAR Scholarship & Angel Fund programs and numerous community service projects throughout the year.
