Humboldt County Moves to Red Tier - HAR Staff Working Remote as of 11/17/20

The State of California today moved a number of counties into more restrictive tiers in response to the fastest increase in cases and hospitalizations seen since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Humboldt County has been reassigned to the “red” or substantial tier.

The state will require various business sectors to reduce capacity or modify operations, while still following COVID-19 safety measures, including facial covering requirements, physical distancing and sanitation procedures. These requirements are expected to take effect within the next 24 hours.

With Humboldt County being designated in the Substantial “Red” tier, the association office will need to return to operating remotely effective tomorrow, November 17th, until the State changes Humboldt County’s tier to a less restrictive tier. The Humboldt Association of Realtor’s has checked with the Humboldt County Health Department and they have confirmed that the association, as a non-essential business, must return to remote business. As of now, Real Estate is still considered an essential business and agents may operate under the guidelines provided by the California Association of Realtors and the Department of Real Estate. Please refer to the COVID-19 Industry Guidance: Real Estate Transactions to make sure that all guidelines are being followed both in Real Estate offices and throughout . https://files.cov...

We will update the Association members as we get more information from the Humboldt County Health Department, the State of California and the California Association of Realtors.
